As I don’t like sour cream frozen, I take out half the stroganoff to freeze and add half of the sour cream to the batch I’ll eat. When I’m ready for leftovers, I thaw and reheat the stroganoff and add more sour cream then. I did this with my moms stovetop stroganoff recipe and will try this with yours.
