I made your cute vanilla cake and it turned out very nicely. I just made a little mistake: I didn’t have apple cider vinegar so I used raspberry vinegar and the flavour (of raspberry) was too powerful. I won’t do that again :)
I unfortunately didn’t find a 2 inches side pan in my country, it’s a 3 inches one. I read your comments, so I put parchment paper high up the sides and I lower the oven heat. My cakes don’t sink and bake perfectly. Thanks!
