I’ve never been a fan of Tiramisu, but it’s one of my husband’s favorite desserts. Perhaps I’ve always had inferior Tiramisu and I’ll be a convert if I make and eat yours. Can you tell me more about the lady fingers? In your photo they look more hard, less sponge cake like, which is what I sort of remember. I haven’t looked for lady fingers for years, but they were always hard to find – my mother always put mascerated strawberries over them as an easy dessert. I can’t even remember where in the store to look – cookie aisle? bread aisle? bakery? Can you tell me the brand you used? Looking forward to giving this a whirl with Frangelica or Kaluha or something other than whiskey or maderia.
